That is great! There is another feature I would like to talk to them about that shows up on beta but doesn't work( adding the menu to change the background color from the infotainment monitor). Did you simply email the Carista customer service?

 

Yes . We had an email conversation about it and where did I see the option to do it at . Shared the link to them . They Replied , here it is !

 

Will this be available on a Base S model without any options?

 

I would believe so . It’s hidden .

Select “driver info “ on the menu for info selections . Also you will notice on the selection where it says “driver info “ there’s an arrow pointing next to it . Hit the directional buttons to the direction of arrow , then you have more selections of showing since last refill , last start ,last trip , etc. I chose since last refill

 

Surprisingly I don't have the driver info on the list, only have destination info. Is it something you added by Carista to the menu? Or maybe this option was added to 23 model....

 

No it was already on there . Funny , my destination info doesn’t work lol . It’s bothering me , just gets stuck saying calculating info or just a straight line across while using Apple Maps .

 

Go to driving data . Do you see that option ? Then click the direction of arrow on the direction pad then select what time of length you want to show ….

I am also looking for this option and didn’t find Driving Data.

I’m from Brazil, my Taos model is 2022, I believe it was made in Argentina.
Maybe that’s why I don’t have this option.
Do you know if we can make it able by Carista?

Has anyone was able to add the "menu" for changing the digital cockpit color to the infotainment system? This option is available on Carista beta but didn't work on my car....

 

I was never had it work . I can change the color though

 

I was able to change color with Carista as well. It would be nice and much easier to be able to do it via infotainment screen instead of using Carista. I think they can fix it. I have seen some videos (Taos south America version) showing that ( as standard) option on the infotainment screen.

I have a Taos S AWD and got some questions before I consider purchasing Carista.

1) Does anybody know if I can enable the features that are available on the SE Taos that are not in the S Taos? For example, the NSEW directions are not in the S Taos dash or the Destination Info, Oil temp.
2) Does anybody also know if I can calibrate the display settings like the ’contrast’ or ’saturation’ of the center console display (carplay screen). Do I even need Carista for this?
3) Will I be able to change the colors of my dashboard from the stock blue?
