Engine coolant level low warning light on

I have added a mix of G12evo to the reservoir twice in the past year to bring the level from low up to high.

This morning, the low coolant light came on at start up. I added the remainder of the premix that I had mixed, bringing the level up from below low to high.

My odometer says 22372, owned the car for a year and a week... added a total of 1 liter of mix. Next trip to town, I need to pick up a fresh gallon of distilled water.

Hot weather will start in the midwest in a week or two... I will check the reservoir more often for the next few weeks to decide when to notify the dealership.

Currently having this issue. Leased in July 2021 (the VW Taos 2022). Drove it from July 2021-January 2023 without this issue (other issues ie: stalling, which we took it to the dealer twice and they told us it was literally nothing before the recall came out (cue eyeroll)). Jan 2023 (16k miles) had the warning light come on, had it towed, was told it evaporated. Not even 6 months later, having the same issue, planning on taking it to the dealer again Tuesday and kicking up a bit of a fuss, but until then, I want to just add a bit of coolant...however can't get the cap off-anyone have any tricks?
When hot, the reservoir almost has some pressure in it when removing the cap... wait until the engine is cool.

That black cap also has some ratcheting mech in it like a gas cap... and sometimes takes two hands on it to break it loose.
