Hot color. Still missing two things I'd want - turn signals in the mirrors and memory seats. I agree with the move to an 8-speed auto for the 4Motion. The programing for our DSG is fairly horrible for what should be a super smooth transmission.... why doesn't it blip the throttle when downshifting?? Ugh.

Not a fan of the AC touch controls but at least they'll be illuminated, I hope.
  • New acoustic dampening treatments help to reduce interior noise
Curious to see what they added since the doors had absolutely no sound absorption.

Sticking with my '22! I do want that lizard-stamped piece in front of the engine bay.

Nice walk around -

Ok, I just checked. I`ve never been in the back seat and I think I only had guests sitting there 3 times in 3 years. I thought that the Black P{Lastic back of the Storage/ Arm Rest Assembly had "vents in the two dedicated openings. Surprise, as fake as the Dual Exhaust Ports on the rear bumper, go figure? For me, since I doubt anyone other than. my beloved golden Retriever (my fuzzy faced daughter) see no sir[ose to spend an additional 4k to 5 k more for a few upgrades. Has the Trim bump been around 2K or so, I would do it to eliminate the cost of getting the Windows Tinted with Film and get the Satellite Radio which I have enjoyed on other Vehicles that I`ve owned. For me, it's a Utility Transporter and not much else. I`ve gone through my fair share of Stingray Corvettes and multiple Mustang Convertibles.

Speaking of missing features? No mention of Power Hatch Door regardless of Trim Level. Whats that all about?

They make blackout kits you can overlay on the chrome, and they are gone like the Euro Golfs.
Unfortunately, the fake exhaust tips are almost impossible to remove if you want to replace them. I struggled for 4 hours, read through every repair manual and video I could find, and still couldn't figure out how to remove them.

Just like my 21 Jetta, VW uses a stock part rear console that can theoretically hold buttons and vents but only does in certain models, trims and markets.
So to save money, no ventilation ducts or registers are installed in the rear console. Which is lame.

Wait, are you saying your rear AC vents don't work? Could that be a parts shortage issue?
Mine absolutely work. Even have a cup holder installed in front of one of them to keep my energy drink cool on long road trips.

Of the three new Paint Colors VW brought to the 25` 'refresh", that "look at me" Green will be somewhat as popular as the Cornflower Blue, Love it or Hate it. The new shade of Blue might show some interest for those tired of Black,White, and 50 shades of Grey. Of the 3 new additions, I would lean towards the "Monument Grey" possibly after seeing it on a Taos or Jetta. If it looks like a similar color used on Porsche, that might be it if I find it possible to avoiding staring at the fake exhaust ports.

Sales guy said they can't keep Cornflowers on the lot. That metallic, minty green will be a hit as well. Why? It's an actual color breaking from the sea of gray blobs and earth tones.

The makers have come up with clever names for gray. Creative and perky words that basically define the color and luster of modeling clay.

I think the B2FAB tip blackout product are stick-on covers? They may simply go on top of the things.
I purchased an actual 2 Tone retrofit Horn for my early build Taos that was equipped with a 1 tone scooter/bicycle Horn. Easy install using same frontal wiring harness! B2FAB has great aftermarket supplies! Instead of having Mat Black Plastic Fake Exhaust Tip Covers to stick on over the Chrome Ornaments, perhaps they can offer a complete disguise stick-on Cover eliminating this obtrusive monstrosity all together? I`ll place my Order immediately for the "Beta" Cover.

I`m in South Florida where you would think that Cornflower Blue would be a hit. See very few here in the Tropics. Of course, more Boomers than Gen Z`s down here too.
