New and don’t own a Taos yet. Have a 22 Chevy Trailblazer LT w / 27k ( yes I drive a lot ) want to trade in and love how the SEL is . Dealer has A black SEL for $ 27k which is awesome but it has 31100 miles on it ( a lot for a year ). Just don’t know how reliable the Taos is and buyer beware ? Would you buy it ?

The '22 model year was about 18 months long so if it's an early production version that's only about 20K miles/ year. Mind you, a later production date would mean fewer of the initial production issues. Make sure any software updates are done. Consider extended warranty (but I never buy them).

That's not a good price, unless it's a VW Certified pre-owned unit, sold from a VW dealer. I'd almost rather spring for a NEW one. Either am SE or an S if it was 4-motion.

So you want to pay an additional $900 for gap and over $3,000 for an (aftermarket) extended warranty? That puts the price right back up to a new Taos.

Is there something going on with your current car to make you want to switch to the Taos? I love mine, and have been fortunate to not have any issues thus far. But again what does your budget allow - probably don't want a car payment that will prevent you from eating or saving a little each month for emergencies/future use...

FYI , used cars sell for WAY more (in relation to value) than new cars right now. I produce about $1,000,000 in auto loans every month. I kind of know. The old days of buying a new car, driving off the lot, and having the value drop are over. You buy a new car now, drive off off the lot 1 mile and it becomes used. Right off the bat, your car's value increased over invoice.

Just not fully happy with it . I like it but it’s an LT and wanted the RS . Dealer sold the RS I was looking at and RS hard to come by at the time . Bought an LT instead .
