When is someone going to bring to market a set of Window Vent Shades for the 22` Taos? Neither WeathTech or AVS has them available. VW doesn't have them as a OEM Accessory yet either but they do have a Hood Air Dam? Either the slip in or tape on variety would be helpful to vent the windows to let out unbearable hot air when the Vehicle is parked.

Don't buy the Cobra Tuning ones on eBay from Russia. They are terrible. Mine fell off while I was driving and they didn't fit properly.

Got it. Saves the tip of the hood I guess. I’d fear it deflecting a rock into the windshield. I had the hood, bumper, and fenders covered with xpel film. Pricey but never had a rock chips and that gloss black bumper will be a scratch magnet over time.

WeatherTech allegedly has them in "design" stage but has had that statement for months. Designed in Germany and manufactured eventually in US? AVS has no information of if or when they will be available either. For a Vehicle that went on sale 9 months ago, odd that its taking this long?

Annoying for sure. The ones from Russia are junk.

Most Motor Vehicle Manufacturers sell their own OEM Window Vent Shades which I'm sure are made from 3rd party vendors simply adding the Cars Logo. Very odd that the same Vendor who makes VW Hood Deflectors didn't offer the Window Vent Shades at the same time. VW has no explanation, duh?

Yes they are, I installed the front ones and as people said they're simply not an good or perfect fit. Been on for 10 or 11 days now and havent fell off yet but this weekend im taking a 600 mile trip and will be cruising 80 for hours so ill know soon enough... LOL

They look ok from a far but the rear dont meet up to the fronts as you'd expect so i tossed them. When you look at the edge with the tape on it you can see they're simply not an perfect fit.
I'm a smoker so i needed something, i just hope they stay on until someone makes a good quality fit

There absolutely no excuse for either VW or AVS / WeatherTech not to have brought these to market yet. Norm ally, they get access to the Pre-Production New Models to take measurements and take molds of the window frames so that the Window Vent Shades are typically available when the new Vehicle launches. I have no desire to install them 6 months before I trade in my Car so the next owner can have them for their pleasure.

The Chrome Trim Window Vent Shades for the 22` VW Taos have been on Ebay since the Vehicle was launched. No feedback from previous purchasers? The "Cobra" ones that are shipped from Russia are probably manufactured in China as well. I personally am not interested in these even if they fit perfectly. I bought the "S" Trim Taos in Black
specifically because it has (No) Chrome Trim with Black Alloy Wheels. Why would I want to add a strip of Chrome to the Window Vent Shades?
