No comparison. Mazdas are cramped, overrated, and ugly too! HRVs are too bland & underpowered. VW Taos, best in class! 💪

The Mazdas are the only real competition as almost all others that are comparable have the CVT transmission that is unappealing to many but the Mazda interior layout and infotainment is still inferior to the Taos. The massive Kia and Hyundai theft problem basically eliminates them from serious competition for awhile. The Taos just looks the best as well!

The new HRV is getting bigger/more capable.
The 2022 Hyundais don’t have the problem, nor do others with push button start.
we couldn’t sell our CX-5 fast enough.

That is true... but who wants to take the chance the thieves will figure it out only after they break in? We're not dealing with rocket scientists here.

I test drove the cx-30, the HRV and the Kia Seltos. The cx-30 was cramped I felt claustrophobic I thought the HRV was noisy I did like the Kia and pondered buying it but the Volkswagen Taos is much more roomy storage is huge I've owned it for a year and I still like it a lot.
