Just trying to see if anyone knew anything about a first payment coupon. Google didn’t tell me anything

this might help identify what you're looking for.

payment coupon: the stub of paper on the bottom of a bill to be returned with payment

this is only useful if you don't know where to mail a payment to, or these days an ACH payment direct from the bank. it was super common in the past because it was the only way to pay the first few payments for any loan until the full coupon book could be sent to you (back in the day when all bills were mailed in).

the one thing I've see recently because this is very old-timey, is that people get confused by 'coupon' thinking there might be a discount someplace they don't want to miss out on.

I never got a payment coupon book in the mail. My advice is to go to VW online and create a user name and password. Then, put in your loan information, bank information, and pay your first payment, online. Everything is mostly done today, online. Times have changed. You can call VW Credit and make a payment over the phone. Give VW Credit a call for your options and when your payment is due.
