I saw a fresh video on YouTube last night that was posted by Autoblog Argentina. It is the VW Taos Technical Presentation for the Argentinian, Brazilian, and South American markets. There's a lot of interesting information that will also be applicable to the North American front-wheel drive version. An exception will be the engine and, possibly, the transmission. Mexico, Central and South America VW Taos will get the 1.4L TFSI (EA211) Engine instead of the new 1.5L TFSI (EA211 Evo).

The Technical Presentation is in Spanish. It would be nice to have a general understanding of Spanish but it is not essential to enjoy most of the content in this video. There's a lot of visual (graphics and 3D animation) info in this presentation that would be of interest to the VW Taos enthusiast. Most notable info are the ground clearance, attacking angles, and the 3D animation showing the suspension, steering, brakes, chassis, side panels, interior, engine/tranny, roof, front frame, grille/bumpers, and etc. all come together.
The screen grabs continue below. The forum only allows 10 screen shots per post.
Enjoy!
