A Taos Coupe Crossover could happen as Volkswagen looks to target more emerging SUV segments. The Tiguan X Coupe Crossover was just announced for Beijing and could be an indication of how they want to approach other products.
Hard to imagine this is happening to a model that is supposed to be VW's mid-level SUV in the North, Central, and South American market. I don't think sales would be as high volume as, say, the Chinese market to justify it.
