Anyone had any issues out of the usb ports not working?

they work great, you need to use them as supported.... rear ones are power only. front ones won't work with things like music players. they work with phones and USB sticks

Nah. Mine don’t work at all. Dealer tested them. Just seeing if it’s a common thing.

My front ones work ok have not used the rear ones.
I wonder why VW does not just define all 4 of the USB C
Ports as USB 3.1 with charging and communicating and be done with it. Then it would be automatic that an iPod and many other music machines would work anywhere.
Costs a few feet of wire only. Get rid of the old cigar lighter ports.
