I want to tow a 2022 Taos Comfortline on a dolly behind my RV. I understand they can only be towed 30 miles or 30 minutes because the electronic park brake will activate. Is it possible to bypass, disconnect or over-ride the electronic park feature short of taking the rear wheels off and disconnect it. I have tried talking to VW dealer and all they are saying is that it would open them up to liability to do it or tell me how to do it. I bought the new car and now find this out. Sure don't want to buy a trailer and tow it that way. More weight to tow. I am up to my max hitch weight with it on a dolly. Have towed VW fwd Golf and Sport wagons for the last 20 years on a dolly, but now they changed up to electronic parking brake. Any suggestions???? Jim Curtis

Where did you here the electronic parking brake applies after 30 miles? The only automatic application of the parking brake I have found is if the car is moving and the drivers door opens. I have had that happen as I have a bad habit of not closing the door when I move it to cut the lawn.
