Almost done learning and setting up the car. A few more questions:

1. The help system says you can add 4 things to the Control Center. What IS the Control Center. Sems like the message shows a limited number of spaces for buttons for this control center. Maybe 4 or 6? I am not seeing this.
   
   
2. I swear when I got the car there was an odometer across the bottom of dig cockpit. Now only trip odometer. Where did the odometer go and how do I get it back?
   
   
3. With my last car I had Sirius/XM traffic. Cannot find any indication if that works with the Taos Nav system.?

For one and two, we need your trim level. Do you have the digital cockpit, or the pro?

For three; yes. Somewhere in the manual, it is indicated that built in navigation utilizes SiriusXM Traffic. Sorry I can't be more specific, it got filed in the "interesting but irrelevant" part of my brain.

Only thing I recall from my manual read was trafic through Car-Net which I do not intend to activate. Did not see Sirius but will look again.

ODOMETER: there is a picture on page 16 of the manual. I have the trip on the left. I do not have odometer on the right.

It appears the Taos nav does NOT use Sirius Traffic. A shame as that worked so well.

I think it's because you have the cruise turned on. It looks like it steals the odometer space to display cruise info.

At least with the base digital cockpit you cannot display both odometer and cruise simultaneously, for some reason. Turning on cruise replaces the odometer.

You were correct. I would have thought that turned off when the car was turned off. But it stays on.

And found the control center and favorites. Pull down top bar on the I infotainment screen.

Is there anyway to get the digital cockpit pro features on the Taos SE? Was hoping maybe there was some type of software update I could get through VW? I'm assuming it's all software / firmware based and would be something you could add on. I'd really like to have the tach and Speedometer show at the same time.
Also I noticed my estimated miles to empty count's down in increments of 5. I other words if it shows I have 300 miles to empty and I've driven 4 miles, it still shows 300. Does this change closer to empty the fuel level gets?

amd no I don’t believe can just plug in a full digital cockpit without some big coding. Not saying it can’t be done I just does anyone here will be putting the money into it
