Going to update this whenever I can. 👍🏻

Bought a 22 SE 4motion DSG in Cornflower Blue which was a massive mission as these were seemingly very hard to find as there were very few in the entire US

Roadtrip from AZ to CA and back.

lucky to find on with a sunroof, option wheels of which I’m not to keen on but that’s an easy fix

Got the following parts ordered and are all inbound.

SIRIUSLED front turn signal bulbs 👈🏻 ✅
Full Basecamp kit
B2BFAB 20/25 spacers
B2BFAB start stop solution 👈🏻 ✅

going to keep the build more OEM+
I’ve plenty of modified and lowered cars so this one is staying stock height (no slalom on the freeways avoiding holes)

Comments always welcome

Super easy install on the LED front turn signal bulbs

no electrical connectors to mess with just hold and twist the holder 45 degrees. Remove the holder swap out the bulb and replace.

Thought I’d go ahead and make a quick install video for the start stop defeat.

nothing fancy just plug and play

Well worth the money to not have to hit that button every time you drive.

Thanks so much for uploading that video. Looks very simple to do. I was on the fence about buying one because I didn't want to break any plastic. But it appears everything comes off fairly easily.
Yep be firm with the pulling and your good to go.
Following this thread.

I had the option to get the blue one but the dealership is giving me more discounts on the white one (after their markup, of course).

Excited to see how the Smurf turns out in the future!

The cornflowers seam to commanding a high price. Prob due to lack of availability anywhere in good spec
Beautiful. Thank you for the info! Congrats on your modification/upgrade.!!

As fyi. I feel your pain in trying to find a Cornflower blue + Sunroof. I wanted the SEL. I was reaching out up and down the west coast. And 2 I dealers all wanted a couple k over MSRP (super crazy). Luckily a dealer 50 miles away (drove past a couple of VW dealers to get there) worked with me and requested my SEL AWD Cornflower Blue + Sunroof and sold it me mine under MSRP and very straight forward (no dealer games). Very good transaction in my book.

In fact he ended up getting two and sold the other one right away.

Absolutely will be posting pics.

I picked mine up in Huntington Beach. Very small mark up.

Hey Smurf nice video, just curious... Did you try to see how the car reacted with the switch just unplugged?
No, it’s not good to power the car up with anything disconnected. There is a warning on the instructions and I also know it will throw a code of some sort
LED trunk bulb installed . Any 42mm festoon fits.
No pics asit’s just a bulb 😁

I installed this module yesterday and it works great! Took no more than 2 minutes to do.

Upcoming cross country road trip means a full detail is required. All wheels off, barrels and faces treated with Fusso Coat this is such a great product. Meguiars ceramic wax applied to fender liners together with all suspension parts. Why you say?. Because I like keeping things you can’t see as clean as the things you can see 😁

while I was in there it reminded me of how bad factory brake pads are. So much dust. Ill be swapping them out for a ceramic compound when I return.
