What were they trying to fix? Do you know what fault code was stored?
It is possibly buried somewhere in here 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS SUV AWD | NHTSA

Evap vent valve struck open. I bet its this. I spoke to them today and they said this is covered by a software update TSB

That is exactly what it was, I am very skeptical that it will stay fixed, doesn't any one turn a wrench any more? Does everything have to be fixed via computer?
