'22 Taos S engine stalled out while driving 2nd day in a row. I have a FWD model. This problem is NOT limited to AWD models. Let this be a warning to all. This is NOT SAFE!! I wouldn't trust any model Taos right now.

I did have auto start/stop enabled at the time. Didn't happen again for the rest of the drive after I turned it off. I'd recommend if you do have a Taos to always deactivate it every time you start the car until this is brought to light more.

Can you be a little more vague please? :D Did this happen while you were in motion? Question to both of you. Or were you stationary and it "stalled"? You need to deactivate the auto start/stop every single time you turn the ignition off. Same as when selecting sport mode

In motion while driving. Engine light was on. Vehicle was at dealer last Wednesday. I was told the engine light was on because it needed a software update. And that it was safe to drive. This morning the engine light came back on. I called the dealer. Told it was safe to drive until they could get me in again. This afternoon is when the car tried to stall while in motion pulling out into and intersection. Foot on gas and driving then all of a sudden you weren’t moving. 2022 Taos S FWD.

Oh this is most disconcerting. I hope you get it sorted out soon. My Taos has been trouble free for 8k miles or about a year. So has every single VW I've leased over the years. And there have been more than i can remember.
