You do know the headlights are different in a SEL …the have 2 DRL lights in them to match the grill.

Yessir, headlights should be plug and play but before i make that move, I want to make sure that the grille is a viable option as well

That’s what I’m thinking. I just want a general idea of where the wire runs. I’m hoping there’s a harness sold separately

This. I want to see if the harness that plugs to the grille is an add on or if it travels to some undisclosed location

I just took a look and couldn’t see a empty connector so it will be more then likely a splice into the DRLs.
The grill is just power and ground so I can’t see this being hard. $350 is a lot for LED strip mind! 🧐

"Remove the radiator grille reinforcement" - is that removing the whole grille/bumper or can part of the grille be removed on its own?

That I believe refers to the top panel when you open the hood it’s like the cover plate for the radiator. Could be wrong but I believe it’s just clips holding it in going by this pic

Those are connectors on each side of the emblem. The post describes them as sockets so I assumed a harness is connected to them

Hi I have a 22 SEL with the LED light bar. The drivers side light bar cracked when hit by road debris and the chrome surround got scratched.
took it to Vw to see what can be done and they are saying $850 + labour as the scratched chrome trim comes as part of the grill. Does anyone know if that’s the case. Seems off to me

That’s dealers for you. The part is expensive. It’s a diy job if your handy
