Hello all,

Introducing myself. My name is Ryan. Long time VW owner, purchased a new Taos to replace our MK6 Jetta.

so far we just have front tint, a rear cargo cover and an armrest insert but I’ll have some fun w it soon enough.

Found the forum to see if anyone has done spacers on the stock wheels. Trying my best not to do suspension and wheels for a little bit, but we’ll see once I decide to raise or lower it.

I'm not a fan of spacers myself as it is basically changing the wheel offset and may affect the handling a bit. Negative offset promotes steering self-centering and adding spacers reduces that negative offset. It will probably not have that much effect and I agree it will probably look good.

Spacers on. 17mm front, 20mm rear. Tried to get a good angle, the photos absolutely don’t do it Justice but I’m real happy with the sizing. Honestly could have done 20/25 but this is a comfortable middle ground

Thanks - just ordered a set. I’m in the same boat as you, want to hold off a little before doing a lift and this will help give the Taos a much better look
