Hi just bought a Taos S 4motion in Gray on Tuesday. Sort of wish I went for the SE but too late now. Am hoping I made the right decision. So far it drives nice. Seems peppy has good handling. I’ve had VWs before, remember the Rabbit? Had the Golf also a Beetle. Loved them all, even though they each had their issues. Anyway glad I found this forum.
Question: does anyone know what could be wrong with the phone connection volume? I have to turn it all the way up to hear someone on the phone. I have an iPhone 11 BTW.

Welcome to the forum. I also have an "S" with the 4motion, mine is the Platinum Gray Metallic. You are better off with the S because a lot of people are having issues with the new radios in the SEs and SELs and I prefer the simpler cockpit instruments in the S. As far as the phone volume goes I had to play around with the settings on my iphone to get it to sound better, check with the dealer they be able to help.

Thanks for your reply, I feel better about buying the S now. Thanks also for your suggestion about checking with the dealer. I’ve tried playing with settings on the iPhone such as Turing up the volume on the handset but I still had to turn-up the volume on the radio all the way.

Thanks so much! It’s my first SUV and I never had a grey vehicle before but it’s growing on me. I’ve always been about red’s or navy’s before this but the grey is definitely growing on me.

I see a lot of pickup trucks in the Platinum Gray Metallic color in my area. BTW I live the New Beetle. I had a 2010 in Red.
