Ok, slam me if you must but i am an old school chrome guy and am looking to install exterior chrome handle covers on my SE. As with most aftermarket accessories for the Taos, they are few and far between. Does anyone know if there is another VW model that shares the same exterior handles? China possibly has some but who knows how long it will take to get them. Searching the net has provided none within the US or Canada. I'm in the US.

I don’t know if any are interchangeable but you may want to wrap them if they are painted.

Thanks guys. I was told by a Rep at VW, that no door handles within VW models are interchangeable. I'm no smart guy but i find it hard to believe that each VW model has it's own set of door handles. Wouldn't make much sense from a manufacturing standpoint.
