Hi everyone. Just found some steel wheels on FB marketplace for much cheaper than anywhere else and I just want to make sure they'd fit my Taos Trendline 4motion. Do I need to check anything else other than the wheel size and bolt pattern. Or are these 2 mesures enough to know if they'll fit or not.

Thanks for the help!

I dont see any info on the wheels your talking about but i can tell you the computer and our systems are critical of the wheels size and overall diameter of the tires. For example i recently got a flat on mine 300 miles from home and by putting the spare donut on i lost basically every system in the car; Cruise, ACC, Lane Assist, Emergency Braking, Steering Assist, etc.... My guess is as long as the overall diameter are the same (or extremely close) to factory overall diameter you'd be ok but thats just my best guess. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will chime in....

Not sure of the OEM size but wheel offset needs to be considered as well. Offset will determine how much the wheel tucks into the fender or pokes out of the fender, you want it as close to OEM as possible.

Also need the correct bore (the size of the hole in the middle). Should be 57.1mm. The VW wheels are hub centric - the bore fits the hub perfectly and makes sure it is correctly aligned. If the bore is bigger you can use centering rings on alloy wheels, but I don't think they work on steelies.
For the ACC etc. you will be fine if the size is reasonably close. Just make sure to reset the TPMS once they are installed.
