Anyone would know if the coilovers available for the Skoda Taruq (all big brand make a model for the Taruq) would fit on the Taos?

It's the MQB platform first of all and the Taos is almost the same car as the Taruq in size and form.

The lack of option for the taos piss me off and my garage received the wrong parts from their distributor when I was supposed to get my h&r sport spring installed.... Maybe it's a sign.

It's possible that they would fit, but also likely that they wouldn't be ideally set up for the Taos. Close maybe, but not specifically designed for the Taos. There may be differences in weight, ride height etc. If they are fairly adjustable that might help.

The Taos was never going to be big in the aftermarket parts scene. There will be more options trickling out over time, but there's not nearly the appetite for aftermarket mods as a GTI, for example. Kind of like looking for performance upgrades for a Prius, lol.

Sorry I don't really know if they would fit!

Coilovers
Yes I know this brand but since I'm into cars (I started with Honda like 15 years ago) I never seen this. While I know a lot of other reputable brand like bilstein, koni, tein, etc. And they do makes a model for the Taruq. My guess is they will probably release something in 2 to 3 years which is really late 😂

Interesting - the Solo Werks fit the Taos, as well as the Mk7 GTI and Audi A3.
If they are that interchangeable, then you might just be able to get a set for a GTI in your preferred brand. (They may have just not gotten around to officially adding the Taos as supported)

I did saw that and I asked b2bfab and they did not come back. If I'm not mistaken, this is the only site that list thoses compatibilities.

Anything MQB will fit.

the difference in weight from the Taos to the say altrack is so small the weight rating isn’t much of a issue. It’s not like you going racing.

I’ve solowerks in my 2 ton Audi. Work find, never had a single issue
