Anyone with cooled seats having issues. Initially without ac on we turned on the fans but the seats heated up instead of cooling. Turned on ac and MAYBE they started the cooling fans but was really hard to tell. I have these seat functions in other cars and it’s obvious when they are on.
manual doesn’t even indicate they exist so I can’t check a fuse
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I have them in my awd sel. Buttons on the temp console next to the seat heater buttons. Turn blue to indicate they are on and supposedly cooling. However even though the lights are indicating they are on the seat fans are not working hence my question about fuse location- absent in the manual

In the standard equipment for the SEL, I see "Heated front seats"... and "Ventilated front seats."
No mention of cooling.
SEL AWD has ventilated front seats, which I don’t think are cooled.
I have a Jetta SEL Premium and they cool when the AC is cold enough, otherwise they are just slightly ventilated. It’s not strong, and if I am wearing shorts I mostly feel it on the upper rear calfs. But I do know it is sending air to my back because on a hot day with black leather seats my back is not sweating.

I guess I am saying that they do work, but do not expect miracles. It’s a basic system, not a luxury car setup.

OK, I found this today :) Who knew? There is a small fan under the seat between my thighs. Like the fan on a desktop computer. I found nothing in the seat back. And I feel nothing even when it runs at high speed.

Maybe if you put the A/C air on the floor instead of the dash vents... the fan may have more cool to blow upward to the seat?

Maybe thats what the mesh in the seat cover is for... I cant image the Cloudtex moving much air.
