I believe that the Taos performed great in all categories... great traction from the 4motion... great braking from the ABS... remote start worked every time, making cabin warm up and snow removal quick and easy... seat warmers are a welcome addition... plenty of cargo room for gifts to 3 events and plenty of flat footwell room for warm side dishes to carry in dinners

I did experience one dashboard pop that really did sound like a rock hitting the windshield... this was on a transition from single digit cold to full coolant temp.

All in all... 4 days of single digit temp at night... plus mild snow accumulation with drifting... the Taos got me where I needed to go in comfort and complete safety.

I have only stock pirelli scorpion all season this week in Vancouver BC, went over snow and some ice with ease in the snow mode.
I wish the heated steering wheel can heat up a bit faster.

I thought I was the only one that thought the steering wheel takes a long time to warm up!

Yes indeed the one on my 19 Tiguan heat up much faster.

I won’t drive it in heavy snow. I still have the tires from the dealership. Although I’m going to take it out in the heavy wet snow we got last night. I’ll post if I have issues.
