I discovered that if you press and hold the power button for about 45 seconds, the system will reboot itself. This has fixed loading channel issues and apple car play issues for me.
However, this is annoying to have to do.

yea I've used that a few times but there is a hard reset option in the menu that seems to work better. not sure the difference.
