Does anyone know how to remove the door handle mouldings, shiny dashboard moulding, and/or gloss black gear shift and radio surround pieces? I want to wrap them and it would be easier if they were separate pieces that I could snap back on when complete…any suggestions would be helpful. (See red arrows on each photo.)

For the doors, you will have to remove the door cards. There are many videos in youtube that explain how to do that. Search for videos related to "Tiguan 2020 door panel removal". Once you have the door card out, you will have to figure out how to remove the trim that you want to wrap.

For the dashboard panels check the following diagrams.

@fredodt on eBay…Gas-Brake-Footrest-Pedal-AT-For-VW-Golf-7-MK7-7-5-Golf-8-MK8-Passat-B8
If anyone gets them, the brake pedal is easiest to put on…remove the old and slip on the new. The gas pedal does not have a cover on it normally and to put this one on, I found the easiest way is to slide it from the bottom up. Lastly, the dead pedal for your left foot is tricky: you need to pull up the left side panel that has the hood release handle about an inch and then pull the old dead pedal straight out. To put the new one on, line up the two larger outer tabs on the back right side first and then press in about halfway, and then try to latch the two long horizontal slots and push straight in.

Sorry for bringing up the discussion again after so long time, but I just got my Taos S :)
If you don't mind me asking, these pedals from e-bay, how would you rate it after some time using it? Not only it comes with the foot rest piece, but the price is waaaay cheaper than the one from the dealership. The e-bay page also does not say that it is compatible with the Taos, but seeing your pictures, got me really hyped to get these for my car!

Very useful, thank you. Would you have a link for this service manual?
