I'm not sure if you know this or not. You have to hit the lock button first, wait to see the lights flash, then hit the remote start button once, let go the lights will flash again, then hit and hold the remote start button down, the lights will flash and the car should start. It's pretty finicky, but I guess it's so you don't accidentally start it with the keys in your pocket or something. Also have to be annoyingly close to the car to make it work as well.My Taos had remote start already installed and worked one time. No luck since then. It's not a feature I use (as this is my first car with remote start, so it's not like I ever grew to love having it previously), but it would be nice for something to work more than once on a new car.
Thank you! This sounds like a word math problem; I was never good at those! My job went full time remote (no pun intended), so I'm thinking bitter cold mornings will hopefully be a thing of the past for me. If not, at least I have heated seats.I'm not sure if you know this or not.
