Has anyone recently purchased a 2022 Taos SE / experienced "market adjustment" of $3,000? The dealership I spoke with seemed pretty adamant that there was no wiggle room for a discount (for neither MSRP nor market adjustment). Given the market, I didn't necessarily expect a discount but especially with 2023 Taos release around the corner (assuming within the next few months), it doesn't seem as reasonable having to pay over MSRP/market adjustment. Any and all insight you all could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Look under kbb and truecar pricing in your area.

Just tell them you will buy the car if they remove it, if they don't walk away. It's a difficult tactic now because they really don't care if you buy because the next guy will but they may. I had people tossing the markup in December but in March when I bought it was not negotiable. It ended up being a $1500 "surface protection package" and not just a markup so at least I bought something.
