I got bad news for my Taos 2022 today. I am at the dealership and my car only have 22,000 miles is 2 1/2 years old. They told me that the real person I need to be replaced if they’re not covered under their warranty Anybody has this issue before? The nice technician that I deal with he told me that he and some people would recommend aftermarket pads. But VW would not have the warranty in place.

This is a common issue experienced by most(all) of us. Some Taos owners were lucky and had the pads and rotors replaced for free. Others, like me, who fell outside of this extended warranty, had to pay, out of pocket, the cost to replace the rear pads(and sometimes the rotors).
