I’m curious if any Taos owners have noticed a subtle rattling sound coming from under the car at very light accelerating from a dead stop. Happens in reverse also.

I don’t know where exactly the sound is coming from but feel it may be occurring when the turbo spins up. It’s a little inconsistent to reproduce and not that loud so maybe others haven’t noticed it. I have a Taos 4 motion SEL.

I read in the post below someone mention a rattle happening in their MK6 GTI related to the Turbo wastegate and wondering if this might be connected.

Please let me know if you’ve experienced this in your Taos, what trim yours is, and if you have any ideas on the cause or fix. Thanks!

Brand New 2021 Taos Highline Rattles/Vibrates over...

Please share any similar experiences. My brand new Taos Highline since purchase vibrates some where behind the driver area only over cobblestones and bumps, but always then, since purchase this year. The Taos Demo vehicle at the dealership I bought it from makes same noise in same conditions...

So I just got my Taos a month ago, brand new 2022 only 2,300 miles on it. Did you ever get a response to what this noise was? Mine just started making it and I am concerned and nervous to drive it right now.
