Help! Ever since I got my car, i’ve never been able to turn it all the way up. The loudest it gets is when the volume dial is only at the half mark. I went to audio settings and it looks like it’s stuck in quiet mode but the button isn’t highlighted and I can’t click it off. Any tips?

I know in my wifes 2022 Tiguan (because my Taos isnt in yet), we could hold down the power button to do a reset of sorts. It may or may not help.

Just a shot but are you certain that there isn't a "Max Start-Up Volume" selected somewhere within the settings?

Yes, hold down the power button for over 10 seconds will reboot the infotainment system.

If this is the same thing I think it is, I've had this happen a couple times. The system acts like the VW voice control is waiting for an answer. I've had good luck to clear that off by pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel (not in CarPlay/Android Auto), wait for the chimes, and then closing out the pop up box on the touchscreen.

Good tip! I have cleared it by adjusting the voice volume in settings but your way is easier.

Haven’t seen it in 0813 though.

I actually know exactly what your talking about, the modes are only available if bluetooth audio is selected as the main source when in the media “tab” so once you switch to carplay it seems to switch back to quiet mode unfortunately.
