Programming passenger side mirror auto tilt in reverse

Tried it didn’t work. Do you get the option to enable it in the wiper and mirror’s menu? I dont. I did what the manual said, but after storing the setting the mirror doesn't come back up nor tilt downwards when reverse

Nope your out of luck. This isn’t possible

Atleast you have it, I dont even have that

Instructions don’t work for me but I can tilt the mirror and I get the beep when it claims to be set but it does not keep the setting.

I don’t event get a beep 😔

I saw a video on YouTube of a guy who does it on a Tiguan SEL, his way is a little different that what our manual says. I tried it and didn’t work either.

These cars on Spec high enough to have the right modules to do stuff like this

I’m confused . I just bought Taos SE 2023 . Is this a hidden feature or something? I don’t see this option anywhere going to the info screen . Do I need a Carista for it to show up and work ?

I have an SE and the option shows up on the screen. Went to the dealer today and they couldn't get it to work either.

That sucks . Good news is my Carista comes in today ! Woohoo !

Ok so messing with Carista app . 2023 Taos SE

- enabled option to show on info screen to enable reverse side mirror down
-enabled all the option including beta options to enable mirror to go down and to remember mirror to go down setting
- watched YouTube vids how to set it and did everything from parking brake , switch to right mirror selection , set and put back into neutral , did everything in right order .

nothing worked ! Sync mirror to match didn’t work either . Anyone get it work let us know ! Thanks

I get mine to godown in reverse, but never comes back up. Ever. I have to do that maniually. If anyone gets that working please let me know.

Lol your halfway there . What you do to get them to come down ?

Carista, then followed the directions which are confusing. Do not know if an end step should be something to tell it to come back.

Yup. After enabling the menu option in Carista.

Were you Able to have it tilt with carista?

Mine tilts but never returns unless done manually. Had to turn it off. Wish I knew how to make it work
