I think that I may have purchased my Taos from the wrong dealership.

I used the VW online scheduling tool to set up an appointment for the 10000 mile oil change next week. I selected the dealership that I purchased from... about 45 minutes from home. It showed the first available appointment as the first week of December... 7 weeks away. This morning, I called the service dept... same result... 7 weeks out for an oil change.

I selected the next closest dealership... an hour and 45 minutes from home. multiple slots available next week. I called them to verify, and booked a slot while on the phone.

I wish I would have known about this situation when I purchased... I feel like I purchased from the wrong dealership... I guess that I need to put my feelings on paper and mail it to the local dealership management and VW corporate.

I am going to assume that despite having MB, Audi, Porsche, and VW in one service dept., they have no express oil change lane... & are using the service techs to change fluids.

The dealership that I got an appt with are VW only in their service dept., or may have a dedicated oil change lane.

I see VW still has their "Service Xpress" in some locations for oil changes etc. without an appointment.
I'd still rather have an appointment than show up at random and hope they're not too busy.

I'm having warning light issues (for the last 6 months) and every time I try to schedule an appointment it's 6 weeks....with NO loaner car. I end up driving for 6 weeks with warning lights blaring at me, then I get there and there's no "fix" so they reset and within a few days the lightsare back on.
