No, my dealer said none of the 2022 Taos come with a privacy cover

Its usually dealer added and its better to buy it on your own and theres usually a mark up. The dealer i went to marked it at $250 and you can easily find it for $120

I guess it comes with the top tier model. Right now at my dealer, the cover is on sale for $87.00, so I think I will order it tomorrow.
Confirmed, it is included ("listed as cargo cover") with the SE and SEL trims.

Shame that it’s not included on the S trim. All my previous VWs the Rabbit, Golf and Beetle it was included.
Seems like VW went cheap in some aspects in order to keep prices down. Like the silly-sounding horn for example.

You’re better getting parts that way anyways because mine was rolled into the loan and at a marked up price. I would have rather ordered it myself since I price around for parts

Well I went to my dealer. The one on line in Dover Delaware was charging $87. Other dealers in my area were charging $116 but did not have in stock. My dealer had it in stock but was charging $135.00! I told him I had a 20 percent off email from them and the parts manager said that's only for online. I showed him the email which said it was for in person only. He still didn't believe me. It took a half hour of discussion before he finally gave it to me for $98.00 including tax. So aggravating.
I bought the car from them last Tuesday and the purchase was just as aggravating with their markup!!

You could’ve ordered it online and opted for in store pick up. For some reason my local dealer it’s cheaper to order online through their website and go pick up than going in person and buying it there. It’s stupid

Here is the part number, slap that bad boy on eBay and google and you’ll come up with a bunch of results. Regarding different pricing. You may find it cheaper elsewhere 2GJ061167
