there is a big set of scratches on the digital dash toward the bottom, I sent them a note saying this wasn't there when we picked up the car and unfortunately they had me examine the car in the dealer to pick it up and didn't see it until we got home.

It is used so not sure what if anything they will do

Anyone ever have to deal with something similar?

Mine came with big scratches in the digital dash as well, and it was brand new. Stupid clumsy detailer. There is literally ZERO you can do about that. I'm not aware of how to get scratches out of soft plastic. The good news is you can't see it when the dash is lit.

MacGuires Plastic Polish. Use at your own risk, but if me, I would try it. YMMV.

I love McGuire Plastic polish but the screen is not a hard plastic so it may not work.

The only two times I've taken my Taos for service to the stealership, I've told them not to wash it.
