How do you turn off the vanity light mirror for the passenger side? Whenever you pull down the visor the light is on and stays on. Pretty annoying.

I don't know about the S or SEL models but with my SE, you have to close the little sliding door, to the right> on the mirror itself. If not closed, the light wiil stay on.

That works for the drivers side, but on the passenger side there isn't a sliding door that I know of.

IDK what model you have but there is a slider on the passenger side vanity mirror on my SE. Maybe someone else will chime in with a reply that can help with your model, if it isn't an SE.

Hello,
I finally checked and we do have the slider on the passenger side vanity mirror, but closing it does not shut off the visor light. Closing the driver side slider does.

I would suspect a fault in the light or mirror then.
