Passenger doors scratched inside

hello guys,

my rear passenger doors accumulate a lot of mud and as a result locally the pain starts to pill off.
I bought the car at the end of January 2022 and I find it weird this thing to happen.
Does anyone have similar problems?

I appreciate posts like this. It gives me the idea that I should install some paint protection film in there. Well done for reporting this 馃憦馃徑

That is surprising and disappointing. I would have thought that VW had better paint quality.
FWIW I installed the splash guards and they provide some protection from road debris. I think they were CA$74 /pair here in BC. They are fairly easy to put on and a very good fit.
The sides of the car stay clean longer after a wash.
I would bring it in for warranty repair. That is a defective paint application and they should fix it.

Did you drive over something corrosive?
