Parts Content Information box on copy of window sticker on the Taos I'm waiting to arrive:
US/Canadian-4%
Mexico-37%
Germany-16%

I keep coming up with 57% total. Is a large amount of my car from parts unknown?

I'm guessing China is the default, anything left over falls into that category but ??

It seems to be listing 3 separate categories-
USA/Canada content
Major sources of foreign parts (maybe excluding countries <10% or something)
Everything else (Poland and Hungary for example supply a lot of VW parts - and did somebody mention where the transmissions are made?)

I'm finished geeking out. But I'm sure all vehicles I've bought in the last 10-12 years have totalled 100%.
I read the info from the link and I get it. Things change. No regrets on this purchase.
