Over A Year So Far...

It's been a little over a year since I bought my 2022 Taos SE 4 Motion. I've hovered in this forum and occasionally posted, but wanted to share a little update. I have about 12k miles on Taos and haven't experienced anything major or had any real complaints... I see all the issues that pop up in this forum and I wonder if I just got lucky or these are things that I never paid attention to because they were not significant for me.

Either way, I still love my 2022 Taos SE and don't regret the choice I made. My only gripe... And I mean my only gripe, is that the 2022 Taos did not come with a hitch... While I don't tow I had to get an aftermarket hitch for my bike rack. I would have just gone the trunk mount route, but it's an e-bike and it's heavier.

That's it really... A pretty uneventful year of ownership.

I just turned 23000 miles as I pulled in my drive on my 22 taos se I also haven't experienced any of these so called problems I also agree about the hitch as I have a 14 foot aluminum row boat and a 400 pd garden tractor a hitch would be great I would like to know why they say it not capable of towing as I was under impression that I could tow a sub 800_ 1000 pd total trailer and payload I do love my little vw

My Taos S 4Motion has 30,000! It has been doing amazing. The only thing that I have had replaced were the back break pads. They were expensive, mainly because labor costs at my local VW. Overall, I have not had any problems with my Taos. It drives very comfortably, I like driving it on Eco and Sport mode the most. When I know I’ll be stuck in traffic, I am always on Eco. When I know there’ll be no traffic, I go on Sport mode.
You should look in to getting reimbursed for the brakes. VW put out an extended warranty for them.
