I have the former on a shelf in the garage (from ECS) waiting for my first oil change.
Typically, the last letter is a revision change. Later letter - later revision. They will both fit and work fine, and if you go to a dealer, you may get a different revision than the AC.

Ok, that's what I've experienced in the past with VW and Audi parts but entering the -H part number on VW parts was listed as "does not fit vehicle" so that was throwing me off.

Oil filter is correct~
Just did the oil change last month, simple w/ the only tools needed~ramps, T25 & T45 bits, and a 19mm socket. There are like 8 T25 screws on the side and front of the splash pan, 3 T45 bolts in the rear of the splash pan and a 19mm oil drain plug bolt.
Filled w/ 4.5 qts w/ new filter from the kit that I bought from ESC tuning posted above. Took about 30 minutes, I doubt I'll ever have the dealer do this as it's easy and affordable (vs. having to drive 200 miles to the dealer and the time it takes for travel & the wait).
Just ran 3500 miles after my oil change w/ no low or high level warnings (not sure if there is an overfill warning, lol, but no low warning) so 4.5 qts w/ the filter changed IS CORRECT!
