or 91, just not higherIt says to use 87 in the tank door
That’s what I usually use, wasn’t sure if it was fine to use in the Taos tooCostco has top tier gas, The Taos loves it. 87 here
Yup as a top tier it is fine for the TaosThat’s what I usually use, wasn’t sure if it was fine to use in the Taos too
How many pounds do you use in your tires? The door sticker say 36 but I’m thinking maybe 38psi offers the best balanceYup as a top tier it is fine for the Taos
Thanks, manI run 36 psi as the door says. an increase in tire pressure may help mileage a little bit but can cause a harsher ride on the road.
I usually the tire as to how it reads. If you overinflated you'll get inside tread wear and if you under inflate outside edge wear. In mud and sand you can under inflate slightly as it will provide more ground surface area hence better traction. How many pounds do you use in your tires? Thank you, sirMy door says 41....hmmm. And I tried all from 36-41. Settled on 40. Lower pressures had a little outside tread stepping. Perfect wear at 40, for me. And I am usually the only passenger which does make a difference.
And for you northerners, pressure drops a pound give or take for every 10 degrees. So I check at least monthly.
What state are you in? Here in Oklahoma it reads 36psi on the door jam stickerMy door says 41....hmmm. And I tried all from 36-41. Settled on 40. Lower pressures had a little outside tread stepping. Perfect wear at 40, for me. And I am usually the only passenger which does make a difference.
