OBD11 Questions for experts!

Hey everyone!
I’ve got an OBD11 and I want to make some changes to my SEL 4Motion but curious how to do them.

1.Change throttle response to more sensitive since the DSG is laggy in our cars and I’ve heard it’s easily remedied with some OBD mods you can make it better

2.Is there a way to for the heated wheel to be turned on when you do a remote start since in the winter it is one of the greatest things since sliced bread!

Thanks!!!

Carista is the one that people always mention
I doubt you can change the heated wheel as that would be a program change and not a setting change.

Changing throttle sensitivity won't impact the DSG engagement very likely because it takes time for the DSG clutch to engage and you wouldn't be able to change that setting. It might actually make the sensation worse by increasing the engine speed and the turbo spool up before the clutch was ready to engage. But if you have success let us know
Someone on here (apologies for not giving you credit!) mentioned that the lag seemed to improve after a few hundred miles. My DSG SE definitely seems better from a standstill than I remember it at first. Maybe I'm just getting used to it. But it is plausible that after the DSG clutch packs are broken in they perform better...
The DSG in the Taos seems to be set up for smoothness and comfort rather than performance. A noticeably different experience from the DSG in the GTI.
I've also seen the same complaint about lag from FWD owners on here too, so maybe it's not even transmission related.
all transmissions have shift computers and they learn how you drive. How hard you accelerate makes a big difference in how the trans needs to shift. shift speed and pressure. it takes a bit. Even if some others on this site said "all cars should drive great from day one". that isn't how cars work in the computerized era (1990s +)

When I do a remote start it does - turn on the heated seats so this might be you want to ask the dealer. As I'm not sure if they can just enable this for you vs you doing it. Then again playing with your new OBD11 may be fun.
Not sure if the heated steering wheel is enabled. I will double check that later today.
