Picked up our SE in Platinum Graphite w/ Black wheel, sunroof, and IQ pkg from street VW for a couple hundred under MSRP. Never been thrilled w/ paying close to MSRP but seeing how dealers seem to have the upper hand in these crazy times I was happy w/ the transaction and this one had the exact options in the color we wanted. 200 mile drive home was mostly in the rain so got used to the rain sensing wipers and how well the ACC and lane sensing features work, very pleased w/ that.

We liked the look of the Taos and the size & features are exactly what we needed just being me, the wife, and our small dog :) Very surprised w/ all the features on the SE trim and the design is still keeping w/ VW, not some of the current designs from outer space, lol. Nice acceleration and averaging 37 mpg at 80 mph is damn impressive. Hopefully some of the issues that some have been having will get quickly solved and won't affect the masses.

Glad to be a part of your club!

Nice! Congratulations!
I have the same wheels on my Cornflower Blue SE 4Motion. I wouldn't have ordered the wheels if I had a blank canvas but they were on the one that was on the way to the dealership. I'm glad I got them now - they look good. Same thing with the gray interior. I would have gone with the traditional black, but I got to see the gray in another SE before I put down a deposit and it was just as nice as the black.

Thanks J, I already have 3 cans of Duplicolor Custom Wrap paint to start my de-chroming project :)
Not sure if this will be a vehicle that I will do much to, love the way it is out of the box and our Infiniti G and Jeep Wrangler have been pretty mod-heavy. Time will tell, although a nice chip boost would be something I would consider if & when they come to market.
