Picking it up tomorrow, it's a Platinum Graphite SE w/ Sunroof, Black Wheel pkg and IQ pkg.
Our current Infiniti G37 had quite a bit of chrome accents that I was able to wrap in vinyl or paint so I plan to do the same on the Taos.

I'll probably start on the low window edge trim (since the upper is black from the factory), good thing as the upper sections are quite a bit harder to vinyl wrap.

Will use Duplicolor wrap paint (easily removable and overspray is also easy to remove) on the Taos rear lettering and probably the chrome on the grill. Not sure what to do about the roof rack rails, might leave them be since they're aluminum silver rather than bright chrome but ???

might put a smoke tint on the side Taos plates on the front fender/door section as well as the VW logo on the grill & tail, just to tone down the bright silver to more of a smoke gray.

Wish me luck and I will post photos along the way.

Got the chrome delete done today, went ahead and did the whole project w/ Duplicolor Custom Wrap paint in Carbon Black color. Glad I went w/ that particular shade, it's a mild matte, not dull, and matches the upper window trim real well. Had good luck w/ the Duplicolr on my Jeep emblems, so I assume it should hold up pretty well. I'll keep an eye on the headlights, if they start to peel or have some issues from bugs, etc I can always go w/ a vinyl strip there.
This is the best video on how to do this project, does a nice job explaining the best way to do this IMO.

Sorry for all the pics but that's how I roll 😁
I went with 6 coats, 2 light "dust" coats followed by 4 full coats, and wait an hour to start peeling away the excess. Still on the fence regarding the roof rails, since they're more of a brushed aluminum I might leave them be, plus they would be hard to paint unless they're easy to remove. If anyone has info on removing them that would be a plus. Thanks for looking!

OK, round 2, this is using RustoOleum Peel Coat Black Lens coat, just gives the chrome a tinted shade and just put on more coats to get the desired tint level. Masked the areas, put down 2 light coats and 4 regular coats, removed the masking a couple minutes after the last coat, makes it easier to remove the masking without trying to peel your painted areas.
Now I'm done (y)

Quick question how did you mask and tape off the bottom headlight line? hard for me to tell by the photo how you tape line is so flat and smooth
I used the wide 3m blue painters tape for sharp lines, need to get a tight seal on that edge, but not hard to do, I also used the tape to mask off then entire headlight cover.

Yeah, I have them too, but they still have the "chrome"/black VW center cap.
Just trying to goad him into some extra work. :D
You guys just don't know when to quit :ROFLMAO: and yeah, I noticed the center caps have the bright silver VW, but it is quite small. When it comes time to rotate them I'll revisit this, and I may give them my treatment.
