Greetings from Texas. Just purchased a Taos SE in Dusk Blue for my daughter (got if for about $2300 below MSRP). Long time VW owner (I think this is number 20). Already did a few VCDS mods on it and threw a set of Apex SM-10s off of one of my GTIs on it just to see how it looks (the OD is 1.5" smaller than the stock Taos tire OD). Ignore the enormous wheel gap, the test fit was just to get a sense of how they would look, obviously I'd need to get the correct size if I go that route.

This is also my first automatic (including DSG) VW. I was going to give my daughter my 2017 GTI (I also have a 2019 and 2021 GTI), but she decided driving manual everyday wasn't for her.

Yeah, we got ours for $400 under sticker, I usually get a decent % under invoice but in these times where dealers seem to have the upper hand, getting close to sticker is pretty good IMO.

Oh no doubt. My local dealer would charge $495.00 for doing business with them.

As for sticker price, many dealer will increase the MSRP if a shortage takes hold.

So getting one well under is insane for a dealer with tight profit margins already.
