On my Taos 4motion next to phone battery level and strength indicator is a number 1 surrounded by a circle. Does anyone know what this means? I thought it was for an over the air update, but I can't find one.

It is saying you have a text message available. Push on it and it should show you.

Thanks, I will try that. I have pushed on the number with no results. I will try bringing up the message through other means.

Might be a message from the car rather than a text message. In the top center of the display there's a little horizontal line. Pull it down with your finger to open up messages and things.

Here is an update on the issue. The number 1 with a circle is a notification message, not a text message. If you pull down the white bar at the top of the screen and swipe left it will tell you the message. You can delete or keep.
