More technical questions about the motor in the Taos (US market)
Does this engine have the ACT? (Active cylinder technology or management)
Does it have a belt driven starter? It has an awful quiet starter

Just paid $35 for 1 day pass to the erWin VW website and downloaded the entire Service manual and wiring Diagrams etc. for the Taos, took me a couple of hours to get everything I wanted. So to answer my second question, no it is not a belt driven starter just a standard gear driven unit. If anyone needs info just leave me know.
