I am downsizing from a atlas cross sport SE with tech.
I noticed there is a huge difference in price between SE and SEL
I know the interior looks better in the SEL but I cannot justify spending $5000 more.
I don’t even use navigation.
Would you recommend buying the SE ?

I got a Cornflower Blue SE 4Motion. I wanted Sirius radio and a sunroof, both of which are not available on the S. I ended up getting the gray Cloudtex interior - I would have gotten a black interior given a clean slate, but now I like it. A little different. It's quite nice.
Bigger digital cockpit on the SEL, and better (subjectively) interior, but the SE is nice enough for me!

We have a FWD SE and it seems to be a pretty nice car, excellent interior room, the rear seat room is also very good. Comfortable on long drives and get very good mpg, love the Panoramic sunroof and the black wheel pkg.

I'm leasing an SE and like it very much, I didn't really want a moonroof (the one on my old Tiguan developed a leak that cost me nearly $2k to fix) and while I gave up leather seating, the CloudTex is pretty nice. I use wireless Apple CarPlay for music and nav, and it works well.
