Recently purchased a ‘23 Taos SE w/ IQ Drive and bought the Homelink mirror I (000-072-548-N) and have the harness (000-051-903-B)

my question is where does the harness plug into? The harness is a fuse connection at the other end.

looking at the forum and yt videos most harnesses have a plug to go into the ignition not a fuse.

Any help would be appreciated!

I tried digging with different ways of finding instructions still can’t find it either. I’m sure it’s super simple but if I find out I’ll let you know here.
Yes definitely let me know if you find anything!
I’m thinking about trying to plug into the fuse box later this week. Might try Fuse position for the light/rain sensor

It seems like the enchanted mirror w/o IQ Drive harness plugs into the headlight switch, but the harness with have has a fuse
I’m thinking if it plugs into the light switch we need to figure out what fuse powers the light switch on the fuse box. Remove that fuse and install the connected fuse from the 000-051-903-b along with using the grounded screw on the side panel.

Worth a shot! I just wish someone else had done this with the harness, can’t believe we are the only ones! Lol

It shouldn't really matter which fuse you use as long as you are using one that is switched by the ignition (I assume you want the mirror powered on only with the ignition).
Just remove a fuse, put it in the spare slot beside the 3A fuse in your harness, and plug the harness into the spot you took the fuse from.

Thank you. I’ll try it tomorrow.
Okay, project done. Works perfect! Thank you to zack7895 and Crvw for the push in getting this done. @zack7895 i followed what @CRVW suggested F8 fuse and wired the whole thing together. I unscrewed the lower screw bottom left for ground and ran it up through the a pillar and tucked it under the top of the windshield. Give it a go!

looks great!! I’ve tried going through that fuse as well but I’m having a problem with the compass. It won’t turn off even when car is locked and off. Are you having that issue?
