has anyone ever noticed when you cut your vehicle off there’s still something electric that continues to run I hear it mostly after I parked in my garage and it sounds like it’s coming from the gas tank area where the filler is just weird never heard one do that before i’m assuming it’s normal but who knows with all the electronics on this car and electric motors who knows

Not sure if it's the same but you may hear the same noise if you go to the gas door soon enough after opening the gas door because the car has a gas vapor recovery system. So when you fill it it has to unseal it and I suspect its related to the gas vapor recovery. I think it's open to the engine air intake while running and then sealed when stopped

I haven’t noticed the noise yet on my Taos, however previously had a BMW which would makes noises for 10 minutes after shut off. Something to do with vacuum canisters for the HVAC system moving until it loses that vacuum and then springs moving doors back to idle positions.

If you park outside the noises will be less noticeable. I believe there is also an electric pump to keep the turbo cool after the engine shuts down if it is a hot day also your fans will keep running on a hot day after you had the AC on.

I park in a garage and still don’t hear anything but live in the north east. So maybe I’ll hear it when the temperature warms up.
