This is the start-stop feature. You can disable it a couple ways in the summer
To the right of the shifter, you'll see a button that has an A inside a circular arrow.
Once you start the car, just hit that button and it will disable the automatic start-stop feature.
You'll have to do this every time you start the car. There is a bypass for this listed somewhere in the forums.
In the summer time, you can also set your climate control to maximum. This should also disable the automatic start-stop feature.
It works on my Taos (a '23), but may not on earlier cars (I haven't tried).
This may work as well in the winter time for setting the heat to maximum.
